"Take Back Our Bodies Photo Shoot"
People for Fair Representation in the Media (P-FRaMe)
is organized a photoshoot. The "Take Back Our
Bodies Photo Shoot" on August 26, 2001,
designed to help all women gain ownership over their own bodies, and to
reclaim our image from the media. The goal of this
project is to reveal -- to ourselves and others --
what female bodies are REALLY like. They are beautiful and ALL different!
They don't conform to impossible standards (well,
99% of us don't). We are called for women of all
shapes, sizes, ages and colors to gather for a photo shoot
where we revealed our bodies for the camera. The resulting images
will be placed on posters, magnets, postcards, and
anywhere else we can put them, and hopefully shown in
galleries nationwide.
Seattle photographer
Amanda Koster is the talent behind the camera (you can visit her web site at
www.amandakoster.com).

feel the most beautiful?
Written responses should be no more than 200 words and should be
